Welcome to pixie.haus! These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access and use of the pixie.haus platform ("Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, do not use the Service.
1. Services Provided
pixie.haus offers the following services:
- AI-Generated Pixel Art and Sprites: Users can generate pixel art and sprites using our AI models, including FLUX.1 Schnell, Luma Photon Flash, and Minimax/Video-01-Live. Each model offers unique capabilities:
- FLUX.1 Schnell: Optimized for speed and efficiency, this model provides the best quality-to-price ratio. Licensed under the Apache 2.0 License.
- Luma Photon Flash: Generates vibrant and detailed images, perfect for intricate styles. Licensed under the Luma Labs Terms of Service.
- Minimax/Video-01-Live: Specialized for generating short animations. Licensed under the Minimax Terms of Service.
- Public Gallery and Credit Economy: Users can showcase their creations in a public gallery, earn credits by selling their artwork, tip other artists, and use credits within the platform for additional image generation and services.
- Online Pixel Art Editor: The editor allows users to edit AI-generated images and create new images from scratch. When creating images from scratch, no credits are required, and the editor can be used for free. Images created through the editor can also be published on the platform, where users can earn tips.
2. Ownership and Licensing of Generated Content
2.1 Ownership of Generated Images
When you generate images using pixie.haus, you own the rights to the images you create. You are free to use, sell, and distribute these images, including for commercial purposes.
2.2 Licensing to pixie.haus
- By using our Service, you grant pixie.haus a perpetual, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and store the images you generate. - If you do not publish the images to the public gallery, the license is limited to storing the images on our servers for the purpose of user access and retrieval. - If you publish the images in the public gallery, you also grant pixie.haus the right to modify, display, and use these images for promotional purposes. In addition, pixie.haus may use publicly published images for future AI model training.
2.3 User Responsibility
You are solely responsible for the content you generate. Generated content must not infringe on the rights of others, promote hate speech, or harm any group. You agree to use the Service responsibly, ensuring that your content aligns with these values.
3. Content Standards and Moderation
3.1 Quality and Prohibited Content
All images you publish on pixie.haus must meet a reasonable quality standard. The following content is strictly prohibited:
- Nudity or sexually explicit images
- Hate speech or symbols of hate
- Content that incites violence or promotes harm
- Images designed to harass or threaten individuals or groups
3.2 Artistic Freedom and Controversial Content
We value artistic freedom and recognize that controversial themes can have artistic merit. However, controversial content must maintain a high standard of taste and artistic quality. Moderators will review submissions, and you acknowledge that content deemed inappropriate may be removed at our discretion.
3.3 Unpublishing and Account Bans
pixie.haus reserves the right to unpublish any content that violates these Terms. Repeated violations of our content standards may result in a temporary or permanent ban of your account.
4. Credits and Payments
4.1 Credit System
Credits are required for generating AI images and tipping other artists on the platform. Credits can be purchased and are assigned to your account without an expiration date.
4.2 No Refunds or Compensation
Credits cannot be refunded or exchanged for cash or other forms of compensation. Once purchased or earned, credits are final and non-reversible.

5. User Conduct
You agree to use the Service in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. You may not use the Service to:
- Violate any local, state, national, or international laws
- Interfere with the security or functionality of the Service
- Upload or distribute viruses or other harmful software
- Engage in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activities
6. Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and are fully responsible for any activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
7. Modifications to the Service
pixie.haus reserves the right to modify or discontinue any part of the Service, temporarily or permanently, with or without notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.
8. Termination of Access
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Service at our discretion, without prior notice, if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we deem harmful to the platform.
9. Limitation of Liability
pixie.haus and its affiliates, partners, and employees will not be liable for any damages resulting from your use of the Service, including but not limited to, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Poland, and any disputes arising from these Terms or the use of the Service will be resolved in the courts of Warsaw, Poland.
11. Changes to the Terms
pixie.haus may update these Terms from time to time. You will be notified of significant changes, and your continued use of the Service will constitute your acceptance of the revised Terms.
